About ISO Certification
A clear overview, in simple terms — what it is, why it matters, and how we handle it.
ISO certification confirms that a business runs a management system meeting an international standard — ISO 9001 for quality, 14001 for environment, 45001 for occupational health and safety, 27001 for information security, and 22000 for food safety. The certificate is issued by an independent certification body after a two-stage audit, and is valid for three years with yearly surveillance audits. Choose a body accredited by NABCB or another IAF member.
ISO certification is voluntary, but tenders, export buyers and enterprise customers often require it. The value is only as good as the certificate's accreditation — certificates from unaccredited bodies are routinely rejected in tenders, so we work only with accredited certification bodies.
Our role is the preparation: gap analysis against the standard, procedures and records that match how you actually work, an internal audit and management review, and support through the certification body's stage 1 and stage 2 audits.
| Common standards | ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 22000 |

| Issued by | Accredited certification body (NABCB / IAF member) |
| Audit | Stage 1 (documents) and stage 2 (implementation) |
| Validity | 3 years with annual surveillance audits |
| Typical time | 1–3 months depending on readiness |
Work that the law requires a accredited certification body to sign or represent is delivered through Indus Tax's partner professionals; our team prepares the records, coordinates the filing and stays your single point of contact.
