About Cash Flow Management
A clear overview, in simple terms — what it is, why it matters, and how we handle it.
Cash flow management combines a rolling 13-week cash forecast with action on receivables, payables, inventory and funding. It also maps fixed outflows — GST by the 20th, TDS by the 7th, PF and ESIC by the 15th, advance tax on 15 June, September, December and March — so they never surprise you. Most cash crises are visible weeks in advance in a good forecast.
Profitable businesses run out of cash all the time: customers pay late, stock builds up, a large tax payment falls in the same week as salaries. The profit and loss account doesn't show it; the bank balance shows it too late.
We build a 13-week forecast from your receivables, payables, payroll and tax calendar, update it weekly or fortnightly, and work with you on the levers: collections follow-up, supplier terms, inventory levels, and the right working-capital facility.
We also flag a rule that affects buyers' cash planning: payments due to micro and small suppliers must be made within 45 days, or the expense is disallowed in your tax computation under Section 43B(h).
| Forecast horizon | Rolling 13 weeks |
|---|---|
| Statutory outflows | TDS 7th, PF/ESIC 15th, GST 20th, advance tax quarterly |
| Levers | Collections, supplier terms, inventory, funding |
| MSME payables | Pay within 45 days to keep the tax deduction (Section 43B(h)) |
| Output | Weekly cash view and an action list |
