About GeM Seller Registration
A clear overview, in simple terms — what it is, why it matters, and how we handle it.
The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is the online platform through which central and many state government buyers purchase goods and services. Sellers register free using PAN, Aadhaar-linked verification, GST (where applicable) and bank details, create their profile and catalogue, deposit caution money as per GeM's policy, and then sell directly or bid. Original equipment manufacturers may need a vendor assessment.
Registration is only the start — orders come from a well-built catalogue, competitive pricing and timely bid participation. MSEs and startups get preferences in government procurement, such as exemption from earnest money deposits, if their Udyam or DPIIT registration is linked.
We register you, link Udyam and DPIIT benefits, build the catalogue in the right categories, and help you read bid documents and prepare submissions.
