About Payroll Services
A clear overview, in simple terms — what it is, why it matters, and how we handle it.
Payroll is where small errors become legal problems. A wrong TDS calculation turns into a notice for every employee; a late PF payment brings damages and interest; a salary structure that keeps basic pay too low now breaks the Labour Codes, where allowances excluded from 'wages' can't exceed 50% of remuneration.
We run payroll on a fixed monthly calendar: attendance and changes in by a cut-off, salaries computed with each employee's tax regime and declarations, payslips issued, and statutory payments made and filed on time.
At year-end we collect investment proofs, issue Form 16, and help employees with their tax questions — which saves your HR team weeks of work.
Payroll covers calculating each employee's salary, deducting income-tax TDS, PF, ESIC, professional tax and labour welfare fund, issuing payslips, paying deductions by their due dates — TDS by the 7th, PF and ESIC by the 15th — and filing quarterly TDS statements and annual Form 16. Since 21 November 2025, salary structures must also follow the Labour Codes' definition of wages.
| TDS on salary | Deposit by the 7th (30 April for March); quarterly statement |
|---|---|
| PF | 12% employer + 12% employee on wages; ECR by the 15th; wage ceiling ₹25,000 from 17 September 2026 |
| ESIC | Employees earning up to ₹21,000 a month; payment by the 15th |
| Professional tax | State-wise; maximum ₹2,500 a year |
| Labour Codes | In force from 21 November 2025; excluded allowances capped at 50% of remuneration |
