CMA Data (Credit Monitoring Arrangement) — Meaning
The financial format banks use to assess working capital and term loan applications.
What is CMA Data (Credit Monitoring Arrangement)?
CMA data presents a borrower's past financials and projections in a standard bank format — operating statements, balance sheet analysis, ratios, assessment of working capital requirement and fund flow — so a bank can assess a loan proposal. Banks cross-check it against audited accounts, GST returns and bank statements. It is different from a CMA (Cost and Management Accountant), the professional who signs cost audit reports.
